SOLD No. 2 Grade 1 Parker SxS

Recommended Posts

SOLD. This is an ANTIQUE Parker No. 2 Grade 1 SxS 12 gauge manufactured in 1882. Its 30" Damascus barrels are silver grey, with nice twist pattern.  Some minor surface dings, but nothing serious.  Bores have some pitting, but very shootable, with proper BLACK POWDER loads. Stocks are worn, but solid. Both firing pins and left hammer screw are correct modern manufacture, as is one lock stirrup.  I tried to replace the stirrup in right lock with new one, but do not have the right spring vice.  It is in place, but not fully set.  An easy fix, with right tool.  My loss.  All in all, a very solid, shooter grade Parker. Asking $500 SHIPPED to your door. And remember: It's a PARKER!

You will note that I copied from my Gunbroker add.  I take pics with phone, drop on GB and then copy to file on laptop.  Nothing amiss here.  People real skittish about scams these days. Can send pic of any desired detail as my Bona Fides.

I am looking at options. I have a spring vice for muzzleloaders, but it ain't quite right. Maybe tiny needlenose vicegrips would work? Just needs to hook onto tumbler, but I keep flubbing it.
