Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329
Good Afternoon: I am selling my beloved Uberti 1876 in 45-60. Getting old leads to failing eyesight & upper body strength, so it is time for it to go. I used it for the last time this past weekend in the Plainsman side match at Tusco's High Noon at Tusco 2021. It is a fine rifle, just a bit more than I can comfortably handle these days. Details: Uberti 1876 Caliber -- 45-60 28: barrel -- Octagon & Tapered 47" overall Full-Length Magazine tube Case Hardened Receiver Walnut Stocks Bluing & bore are in good condition Brass bead front/ladder rear sights wood stocks are in good condition with minor bumps/bruises/and scratches from use & traveling around in my guncart. I purchased it new, and the first thing I did was send it to Happy Trails (Bill English, Warwick, RI) for an action job. He did not short stroke it, but he made it nice and smooth. It has been shot with Black Powder & APP loads, and is in very nice condition. $1400 + shipping from me to your FFL If you purchase this rifle, you will be offered my supply of Jamison 45-60 headstamped brass and 300 grain bullets USPS Money order or certified bank check please. Your FFL should accept a shipment from a private citizen PM with questions Thanks for looking--Dawg

Fort Reno Kid
Wow! A dream gun. If’n I wasn’t a circa 1942 and in similar situation as Prairie Dawg, I’d surely give that iron a serious consideration. Is it my imagination that my beloved Uberti 1860 Henry Rifle gets heavier each time I take it to a match? For those of you thinking hard about this rifle, consider that 45-60 is a very friendly candidate for reloading. Prairie Dawg is offering properly headstamped brass. Should you use it up, it’s a simple matter to trim 45-70 brass to the correct length. To the best of my knowledge, standard 45-70 reloading dies will work satisfactorily. Adios Fort Reno Kid
