A Whole Bunch of What Was I Thinking?

OK, in all honesty, the answer is, I was thinking "these are horrifically bad ideas..."

So our - well, Mrs. Doc's - Jack Russell passed a few weeks back. Everyone is aware of that. I had every expectation that come time for the Quarter Horse Congress over in Columbus, that if there were Jack Russell puppies, one would likely be riding back home with us. Then, two weeks ago, Sid came home.

He joins Fred as cats around the house, and things seem to be going well, considering Fred was raised by humans and dogs since about three days old, and never had mama cat or siblings to teach him manners.

This weekend, we went to Congress. The picture will speak for itself.

Ten weeks old and in the house two days and Coraline is letting the two bigger dogs know she is not to be trifled with. Rosie, our Border Collie - German Shepherd mix that was a rescue thinks any time is play time, but I have a feeling here in a couple of months, this Jack Russell may be wearing her out.

What a cute bundle of energy. :D

Border Collies... Jack Russell... We like the laid back, lazy breeds, can't you tell?

Bravo, Doc! They look like fine additions to the family.
