The voice is a learned thing, I’ve used it a few times since the 60s and gotten the attention of many.

Not just his ability to project clearly, but to be melodious at that volume.  I can project to about 300 yards without sounding strained or having to really push my voice.  Or used to - haven't put it to the test in years.  But I can't even scare the notes as they go past, much less hit them.  (although, for some reason, when I chant the prokeimenon (Προκείμενον) and Epistle I can match pitch with the choir)

Those Turks have discovered the best rifle ever made for precision close order drill: the U.S. Rifle, caliber .30, M-1.

I was on precision drill teams in High School and College and we were GOOD!  A friend got a beautiful M-1 and I almost stopped his heart because 52 years after my last drill I still preformed The Queen Anne salute perfectly....with his rifle.  :D

If you still got it, flaunt it.  :P
