10-Gun Raffle Tickets to be Sold at the SASS Kansas State Match

Yep, you heard that right.  If you're going to the SASS Kansas State Match this weekend, look for the Up the Creek Gang's 10-Gun Raffle poster display.  Tell Sackett, one of our club members, will be at that poster selling tickets at various times during the match.  Tickets are $10 each and each ticket you buy gives you a chance to win a gun, and we've got 10 guns to give away!  This is a fundraiser to help us continue rebuilding our cowboy town that was totally destroyed by Hurricane Laura more than a year ago.  Our club is located in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

 

The drawing will be held on December 4, 2021 and will be videoed and put on the SASS Wire that day.  Winners will be called in order of ticket drawn- you do not have to be present to win.  The person whose name is on the first ticket drawn will get their choice from among all 10 guns, then the name on the 2nd ticket drawn will be called and asked to choose from the 9 remaining guns, and so on down the line until all 10 guns have been given away. Yes, you can win more than one gun if you buy more than one ticket and more than one of your tickets is drawn.

In addition to selling tickets at the SASS Kansas State Match, we also will be selling tickets at two matches in Louisiana (Hot Lead and Hangin' at Coyote Creek) and two matches in Texas (the Battle of Plum Creek and Defend the Fort).

 

If you won't be attending any of those matches, you can purchase tickets by mail. To do that, please mail a check (sorry, no PayPal) in the amount that corresponds to the number of tickets you wish to buy, made out to Up the Creek Gang, to this address:  Up the Creek Gang, 528 Jefferson Dr., Lake Charles, LA 70605. It can be a personal check or money order.  IMPORTANT: be sure to include in that same envelope your telephone number, mailing address, email address, and your alias.  We will fill out the ticket stubs for you and enter them in the drawing.  If you want, we would glad to mail you back the long part of the tickets with all the information about the raffle or we could email you a photo of your filled out ticket stubs - just let us know in a note if you would like us to do either of those.  You do not have to produce the long part of the ticket to claim a winning gun.  The deadline for receipt of mail orders is Dec 3, the day before the drawing.
