it's spelled Wagga Wagga      (yes, 2 of them)

Why wouldn't it be called Wagga Wagga? We've got Walla Walla. B)

I thought your "two of them" comment was because someone had spelled them Waga Waga, and you were explaining that there were two Gs.

I had a 3/8” ratchet but it’s hiding with the 10mm socket.

You know, it just occurred to me to wonder why, if the metric system is such a wonderful system, the whole world uses 1/4 inch drive, 3/8 inch drive, and half inch drive sockets and ratchets.

Not 6 mm, 9 mm and 13 mm. 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, and half inch.

Hmmmmmm.

Sure you do. "Get off my lawn!" If that ain't crochety, I don't know what is.

That just means you value your lawn. Walk on the sidewalk, gravel, paved drive provided for that purpose.

As to the loo pictured, I meant no offense. It was posted on another site as being from Australia. If the Aussies aren’t offended I figure I’m good.
I can be as crotchety as the next guy, that one just hit my fancy. So did this one. 4B771B82-E47F-4091-9DE8-E6F9EFF676BA.jpeg.a388aaa83f4e9ad143b815b1b16c08ba.jpeg

Is that why you'reYOUR reloading presses and dies are threaded 7/8 by 14?

Until I went and looked it up, I thought he stuck a Florida town in there. Near the end of the second verse he says you don't call Wee Waa Wee. There's a town just down the road from me. The official name is Wewahitchka, but everybody just calls it Wewa.

Think that's because most sets are metric and AF ??

Friday I was working on my guncart and couldn't find my 10mm box wrench. But I did find my 10mm socket! How can that be? I'm as confused as @Alpo!

I'm not confused, I'm perplexed. Can't you read?

I remember the Perpetually Perplexed note that you had, but I don't see it now.

Now, I'm perplexed!

Are you on a computer or a phone? When Allie asked me if I was upset by her naming me that, I had no idea what she was talking about, because I'm doing this on my phone and you can't see that.

If they've taken away the cute little name she gave us - I don't know what the hell the reason for that would be.

AH Just do what I do when I can't find the correct size socket or wrench.

I bring out "THE FIT-ALL"*

I know many people refer to this as a crescent hammer

But I picked up this term from my brother-in-law. That is a Spanish Fitzall.

I have two of those, one English and the other Metric. I think mechanical engineers could make a universal tool if they gave it a bit of thought.
