The guy on the silos - what is he supposed to be doing?

When I first saw it I thought he was dousing, but a closer look shows that that is not a forked branch but is instead a stick in each hand.

What the heck?

The expression on his face makes him look like he's doing something. Not just idly standing there with a couple of sticks in his hand.

There is water where the sticks cross. Not saying that is the reason in the pic, or gathering kindling. As to dowsing:

When you have one in each hand, they have to be able to turn freely. Holding a stick in each hand would not work.

I have doused with bent coat hangers. I have found copper. Both copper water lines and copper electrical lines.

I have heard of people finding water, finding tile, finding all kinds of things. All I've ever found was copper.

Is that a typo in the meme? Should be Skippy can "do in crooks"?

Or is "dob in" one of them strange Aussie terms that make sense to y'all but not to the rest of the world?

"Dob in" is an Australian term that means to report people that are doing wrong.

My Uncle lost three dairy cows to the one lightning strike some years ago;  12 burn marks on the ground, one for each hoof, after burial.

My 87yo Mother will vouch for Skippy and her abilities; she watches it at 4am with the tv turned up so she can hear it.  .......... her tv is mounted on the wall ..... opposite side of the wall to my bedhead ....... guess when I usually get up.
