Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted July 19 Posted July 19 (edited) My first car(and the first of 3 MGAs), was a 1960 1500cc, followed by a Twin Cam that was fast but terribly unreliable, and the a 1600cc that just "didn't fit my pistol". After that I just went through sports cars, mostly 2 seat roadsters, like sh--through a goose. I threw in a couple of coupes for variety, but all of them had some amount of leather in the interiors, usually at least the seats. The last was a 1968 Datsun Fairlady 1600 that was upgraded in almost every respect BUT STILL HAD LEATHER SEATS and other interior parts. I sold it in 1979 when I left the Marines. Rip Snorter Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Never played Aussie Rules, but played Soccer all through HS and College. Long ago, and there weren't any fake / penalty injuries. Had an Israeli foreign student in our College club, He had a cast on his left forearm - had broken a bone at some point. He was enraged that it "threw him off balance". He broke his cast on a post for the field lights, stripped off the remains and happily played the rest of the game. A different era. 5 Quote

John Kloehr Posted July 21 Posted July 21 This town in Austria changed its name (and streets) in '21: Tourists were making too many crude jokes about the previous name, a name which can not be written on this forum. 2 1 Quote
