Sedalia Dave Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 Won't post any of the videos here because of the NSFW language and topics but go to YouTube and search for " Bush Barbie Australia " aka Nikki Osborne. Some of her stuff is hilarious. 1 1 Quote

Buckshot Bear Posted December 24, 2025 Author Posted December 24, 2025 To all my compadres, wishing you all a very Merry Christmas Day with your loved ones and a Happy, Safe, Healthy & Prosperous New Year. Thank you for your mateship, good humour, kindness and just being great pards. I'll most likely never meet a single one of you, but through this forum, PM's and emails I have made many friends and gotten to know so many of you on a personal level and for that, I am very grateful. Just an update (I'm not going to get political) there's changes to our fireams laws.....they have been rushed in to cover their butts for dropping the ball. The politicians were recalled from their Christmas break and sat till three a.m today bringing in new legislation for us on Christmas Eve. It's looking like we will be capped with a total of ten (10) firearms per person at home, except for Collectors which will continue to have no limit. Magazines will be capped at ten (10). None of the shooting competitions like Single Action, Wild Bunch, IPSC, ICORE, ISSF (Bullseye), Rifle Matches, Shotgun Matches etc etc etc etc will be affected. All licenced shooters will now HAVE to be a member of a gun club. To lighten the mood an oldie but a goodie - 2 4 1 Quote

John Kloehr Posted December 24, 2025 Posted December 24, 2025 (edited) I feel for you. To compete in Steel challenge requires one firearm as long as it is pistol caliber. SASS requires four. Not counting backups. Then Wild Bunch requires another two, unless one runs a 97 in SASS. Three-gun requires, well three which may not be any of the others. BUG has a barrel length limit, so one more. The for those sports allowing both pistols and rifles, and those with both iron and optics... And backups. 10 just is not enough to meet competition needs. Then considering this recent precipitating event when the individual had six firearms... Another useless limitation. Wasn't the last limitation of so-called AWBs intended to prevent this? So now shotguns and bolt action arms were chosen simply because they were available. The same will happen again when .22 rimfire is the only available option. Plus the home-made explosives which thank god did not work. And 10 magazines... Per firearm? Several sports require five each. I have a drawer full. For various firearms in various calibers. Anyway, Merry Christmas and the legislature there sucks as much as many state lawmakers here. Clueless as to criminals and afraid of the law-abiding citizenry. On edit: I left out my carry guns, which those at Bondi beach were prohibited from having. Add those too. Edited December 24, 2025 by John Kloehr Quote

Between my immediate close family, we will, with some juggling....be able to spread around 60 - 80, but it's going to be tougher for single folks. Sorry, I wasn't clear enough in my above post. No limit on actual magazines, a limit of ten (10) round mags. Edit: There will most likely be dispensation if you compete in multiple disciplines to be able to increase the number above 10. Australian sandalwood (Santalum spicatum) is a valuable, slow-growing native tree from Western Australia, prized globally for its aromatic wood used in incense, perfumes, cosmetics, and traditional medicine, with a significant sustainable plantation industry now supporting its high demand alongside its historical use by Indigenous Australians. It's a hemiparasitic tree, meaning it draws nutrients from host plants, and while wild populations face challenges, plantations ensure a steady supply of its sweet, woody oil and heartwood 6 Quote
