Alpo Posted October 14 Posted October 14 That's a j. I was reading that upside down, because it's printed upside down. And it says Am I a ioke to you Because somebody - SOMEBODY - cut the bottom of the message off. There also is not a . under the top of the question mark. That also is missing. Quote

There's a dot under the top of the question mark on my phone. 1 Quote

Alpo Posted October 16 Posted October 16 How many cans in a slab? Does bottle beer come in a slab? Had to translate this into my way of thinking. 285 ml - there's three and a half of them in a liter. Then I divide 33.1 by three and a half and I get nine and a half ounces in a pot. They got a little bottles of beer over here - either 6 oz or 7 oz, I disremember - and they're called a pony. So that's about the same size, but why is it a pot? 'Course, I have no idea why it's a pony. Quote
Alpo Posted October 16 Posted October 16 It just occurred to me that a pony bottle of beer might have something to do with a pony glass, which I had to look up a week or so ago because Philip Marlowe had a bottle of rye and a couple of pony glasses in his desk drawer, and he gave one to Vivian Sherwood. Or a case of Pepsi or Sprite or Dr pepper. You need that for getting hammered? Going to be swelling down Coca-Cola all day long? 1 Quote
Buckshot Bear Posted October 16 Author Posted October 16 Scientists in Australia have discovered a relatively new marsupial species with adorably oversized ears! The creature, found hiding in the woodlands of Queensland, has ears nearly as big as its head, helping it detect even the faintest sounds at night. Researchers say this unique animal could shed light on how small nocturnal mammals evolved to survive in dense forests. 3 Quote

Buckshot Bear Posted October 19 Author Posted October 19 Kangaroo Breaks Into Grow Farm Held 4 Days Until He Sobers Up. Farm workers in Australia were stunned this week after discovering an unexpected intruder inside their grow operation: a kangaroo that had broken in and helped himself to the crop. By the time authorities arrived, the marsupial was stumbling, glassy-eyed, and clearly not his usual self. Rangers said he had been feasting for hours before anyone realized. The kangaroo was safely detained and placed in custody for monitoring. Officials reported it took nearly four full days before he fully sobered up. 1 3 Quote
