Alpo Posted August 10, 2025 Posted August 10, 2025 I know you're posting a meme to make a funny. But I'm going to tell you a true story. When I was born, my Mama stayed in the hospital 4 days. I understand that was fairly normal back then. Nowadays they send you home the same day because, hell, you just had a baby. Wasn't like you was sick or something. But back then you stayed in the hospital for a little while. And for those 4 days I was nursed. Then we go home, and every time she attempted to nurse me my older brother raised all kinds of holy hell. And she put me on the bottle at the age of 6 days, because she could not put up with elder brudder and his tantrums. Now she told me that story. But in my baby book it says she started me on solid food at the age of seven days. Gerber rice cereal. 7 Days old, eating solid food. I don't believe that was very common back then. And I believe it is even less common nowadays. 1 1 Quote
