Even with the pending election, the prices are not that low at this time. Almost $3 in my neck of the woods (which is in the woods).

Thankfully its down to around $1.65 presently :(

So about $4.10 USD/gallon. I just paid $2.29 USD today with my gas discount card (30 cent Wednesday discount). Limited to 20 gallons. 15 cents on other days. Each discount is 15 cents and I have over a dozen to use on my account.

1978 Ford Falcon Cobra
In the US, the impressive high-performance tire shredders were extinct by 1978.
While the Mustang was now a Pinto-based econocar and the Torino GT was history, in Australia, Ford released an exciting muscle car that oozed Shelby vibes.
Based on the Falcon XC Hardtop, the Cobra received a bespoke Sno-White paint with blue Le Mans-style twin stripes and a series of aesthetic upgrades that made it look far more aggressive than its standard counterpart.
Under the hood, it hid either the 351-ci (first 200 cars) or the 302-ci (last 200) Cleveland V8, capable of 217 and 202 hp (SAE net), respectively.
Far cooler and more potent than the performance-looking, US-built Mustang King Cobra could run the quarter mile in the low-17-second range.
While that wasn't particularly impressive, especially when compared to earlier Aussie muscle cars, by 1978 standards, it was more than adequate for a performance-oriented ride.

Young boy sitting on the bonnet of an early motor vehicle submerged in mud in Rankin Street, Innisfail in 1925. The street is covered in mud and water from the flood which hit the town in March 1925. The car is a Ford Model T between 1917-1927.

Cassius, world’s longest saltwater crocodile in captivity dies

The 5m saltwater crocodile, thought to be more than 110 years old and weighing more than a tonne, is remembered as being a “beloved mate”.

... where ... Downton ...

At least "bogan" was spelled right. Considering the meaning of "bogan," whoever wrote the text might be one.
