Maybe a buck and a half of your money. Are cigarettes $4 each? Benson & Hedges Smooth Dark Blue 20s $48.99 So nearly $50 for 20 cigarettes ($2.50 each- that's about $1.60USD). and a can of Coke Coca Cola 375mL 24pk $2.49 each So, about the same as a cigarette? So, the pic wasn't too far off Edited September 28, 2023 by Major Crimes 2

Alpo
Is that $2.49 for a 12 oz can or $2.49 for 24 pack of 12 oz cans? One is a dime each which is pretty damn cheap, but the other is $55 a case and that's insanity. If Coke is $55 a case, how much does beer cost?

Asking the correct way to spell it is probably dumb because I don't think it's a real word, but how would you spell it? https://www.yourdictionary.com/potatoey There are other definitions that are definitely NSFW 1

Its $2.49 if you buy one can and $35.99 for the case of 24. This is Australia clearly beer is going to be cheaper than Coke, or water for that matter Each $2.49 Case (24) $35.99

The Aussies bring up their national passion for beer drinking about every 3rd page and, based on my experience with the Australians I've met, it's completely accurate. Then, there's the stories my Dad brought back from Viet Nam of the Aussie logistics outfit that was adjacent to his company's area and their hard drinking and hard fighting ways. First, there was something about them digging mortar pits as soon as they arrived and their staying up all night taking fire missions. He's told me a thousand times that, 'You couldn't walk near the mortar pits for the empty beer cans and empty boxes for the mortar shells.' The Aussies impressed him as much as the RoK troops. 3

"Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting Those kicks were fast as lightning" But when I first looked at it, it appeared that the vertical kangaroo had hold of the horizontal kangaroo's back legs and was spinning around in a circle, preparing to release the horizontal kangaroo and fling him out into the water. I thought it was photoshopped.
