Choctaw Jack
Bought t of them for the grandson. Nothing fancy, you get what you pay for. They shoot well, seem to be pretty durable. I thinned the grips and re-contoured them to fit smaller hands, and they feel and point better. For the money they do a good job. Don't think they would ever be "race guns". Pat Riot
$114? You had to ask? Go look now and see how many they have. I’ll bet the last just sold as you were reading this.
Trigger Mike
We had one. My son shot a baby rattlesnake with it. Finish would nick real easy. Clunky feeling. The ruger wrangler is much better quality and not much more money so I sold it and bought the ruger.
Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933
It is $114.00 for a reason. Looks cheap and feels cheap in the hand. BUT it does work. If you have even a semblance of pride go Ruger.
Alpo
I passed when they were $79. I certainly wouldn't pay a buck 14 for one.
Crazy Gun Barney, SASS #2428
I have one that was the combo deal (22 lr and 22 mag). Works fine, shoots straight and haven’t had any issues with it. If I saw one for $114 I might just get another to make it a pair.
Rye Miles #13621
A couple pards of mine have them and they’re a heck of a lot easier to cock than the Ruger Wrangler! You need a second person to help you cock the Wrangler! I had one that worked fine but I sold it because it was a birds head grip and I just couldn’t get used to it. I got the Wrangler and I’m kinda sorry I did. I have to change the springs in it!

Waxahachie Kid #17017 L
I have a Ruger Single Six, 3-screw, that I bought back in 1965. I have a Colt, .22 "buntline" with a 7 1/2 inch barrel, that I bought back in the 1970's. I have a second Colt .22 N.I.B., that I also bought back in the 1970's. So, for me, I have no need for one of these. Yes...you get what you pay for. That seems to be the rule. I am sure there is a niche for it, since they are being purchased. I want my firearms to last long enough to pass down to my grandson, and still have a good resale value. It all depends on what you want. For me...I pass on this. Alpo
Hey now, I just remembered something. You cannot buy a Heritage Rough Rider. You have stated on open forum that your next gun is going to be a Quigley Sharps. You're not a prevaricator, now, are you?
Pat Riot
It’s $114 for cryin’ out loud. It’s not a flippin’ heirloom or a danged Olympic target pistol. It’s a plinker. I swear, I think you all would find fault with a… Never mind. It ain’t worth the frustration.

As Pat alluded to, I would put it with my other plinker/varmint small arms arsenal.
Trigger Mike
I will add though that it's a good truck gun or to throw in your ATV or something like that.

Badlands Bob #61228
If I had a tool box on a tractor, I might buy that pistol to keep in there. It wouldn't be allowed in the house with the rest of the quality guns.

DeaconKC
I've got one of these and it is hard to imagine a more fun little 22 https://heritagemfg.com/small-bore/bird-head-rough-rider/49-3-5-rough-rider-22-lr-22-wmr-black-standard-cocobolo
WOLFY
they’re okay… i’d rather hand one to the nephew than my old bearcat or single six
Silver Creek Jack
I have one, it’s in my farm truck in a holster fastened to the front of the seat, has accounted for several armadillos and one coyote who thought he was hidden in a patch of brush. It’s accurate and points nice (for me) and my grandson who has probably put 500 bullets through it. SCJ
