I’m wanting to pick up a shotgun belt like the one in this image of John Slaughter. This is not a want ad but more of one looking for info. Does this look like a canvas belt or do you think it’s leather? If leather or canvas who makes this style of belt? This will not be for cowboy matches. Howlin Mad Murdock SASS #4037 Posted September 24, 2021 Share Posted September 24, 2021 It's called a Thimble Belt, brass or steel holder on a leather belt, they usually had suspenders attached If you ever see a good copy of the picture of JS, it's very clear what he is wearing.
