Subdeacon Joe
After the Yankees/Mets game (darned good game!) was over we went for a short drive to get some air. Got up into the Fountain Grove area of Santa Rosa, which is still rebuilding from the '17 Tubbs Fire, and standing in a well lit median strip at an intersection was a group of young folks, mid- to late teens. They were yelling at cars that went past. I was too startled, and concentrating on the road markings too much (don't go that route often) to respond. What were they yelling, you ask? "NEVER FORGET!" They were gone when we came back that way. I was hoping to thank them for making me a bit prouder, and a bit less cynical, about our republic.
