Garrison Joe, SASS #60708
Seems to violate the rule about combat boots - "Active-Duty Military Hot-Weather Combat Boot " right in the product title. Shooters Handbook, page 4, Outlawed Items Quote All types of athletic shoes or combat boots, no matter the material from which they are constructed. They are even DoD spec compliant. good luck, GJ

Johnny Meadows,SASS#28485L
Phil, What size of boot do you wear? I have a pair of Earth Walkers that were made for me and didn't fit. I"m a 9.5D and feel that they are a 9D. I had him build them with a side zipper for ease of getting into them. I have another pair that fit me and they are very comfortable and I can run like a 72 year old man in them. Johnny Meadows

I been using Justin boot for many years and looking for something I can run in and that are comfortable A person can run in just about any boot. It's a matter of ease and speed. If you're looking for footwear to provide you a competitive advantage in running, then that may be very close to the crux of why some degree of footwear uniformity was specified in our sport to begin with. I had the impression that the CAS game originators were looking for a more or less level playing field among competitors that tests CAS skills, not just determined by who has what equipment. Possibly I am wrong. I am sure folks here will correct me, if so.
