What material for primer hole in practice dummy rounds+

^ made me wonder about tire plugs, that is certainly a tough flexible material.

Lots of things are tough enough. Getting them cut in such a way that they'll fill the primer hole and stay put is the key.

 

O-ring is tough enough, is the correct shape, will stay on the hole, and is inexpensive.

Tried the O ring.  It works ++++++ !
