What are the modern made Schofields by Smith and Wesson going for these days?

I've always regretted buying one of these when they were being made, but personal circumstances greatly screwed up my ability to do so at the time.

But right now, I know of not one, but 2 of the things, with presentation case, for $2800 each.   (Sold separately)   I've not gone and seen them yet, I just discovered their existence.   But I have NO idea of what the typical price for these things are on the used market.

Keep in mind that they are located in Massachusetts and "Mass compliant" so there is a premium for that rare reality.  I'd really like to have one of these things for a variety of reasons, but I don't want to over pay for one.   Anyone have any ideas?

Really depends upon the model. There are seven different SN prefixes with GWS (7 inch barrel) being the most plentiful. They have been selling from $2k up to $2.5K unfired with presentation case and papers.

If nickled, 7 inch barrel, NKL SN, $1000+ more.

If it is a 5 inch barrel (blued (WFE SN) or nickled (WFC SN)), it could be $1000+ more over the aforementioned prices.

If WFS SN, blued or nickled,  5" or 7" barrel, the premium over GWS SN could be $1000 to $2000 depending upon finish and barrel length.

If DBW SN (150th), $1000 over GWS SN.

If NTM SN, the sky's the limit as only six were made as presentation pieces to a subcontractor of Schofield parts to S&W.
