Major E A Sterner #12916
Your spurs were made by Buermann, late 1800's to early 1900's most likely. They were bought out by North & Judd in 1928 along with the Star logo. http://www.oldspurs.com/marks/august-buermann-makers-marks/

Bailey Creek,5759
I have a pair of August Buermann Spurs in Star Steel Silver were made in the 1880s . Had them since 1967. I saw a pair like them in Nebraska at the Bill Cody Museum, know i didn't spell that rite . A horse thief had them on when they hung him.

Tom Black
Very cool to have the extra history lessons for these spurs and the brand. They do look old, but not nearly 100 years. Its remarkable how well they have aged.
