evil dogooder
Trying to set up a more competitive load for my daughter. She doesn't want to shoot .22 and .38s are too heavy by the 5th stage. What is a good low recoil load for .32 h&r? Powders we have are promo, trailboss, and 1 lb clays

ORNERY OAF
Fill the wee cases with the Holy Black! She would be the coolest girl at the match!!! If they hold enough, not sure , never shot 32.

Ozark Okie
Hey Evil, I started shooting 32 H&R magnums this year and don't ever expect to go back to 357/38 (or anything else). My smokeless loads are - - 100 gr RNFP - Trail Boss 2.4-2.6 gr. - Loaded to OAL of 1.30-1.34 - doesn't matter so much in the pistols, but OAL does matter to some rifles. This load works well for me; should be good for your daughter. OO

My wife's Single Six .32 H&R are 7.8 oz lighter than my NMV .38-.357s with same barrel length. She usually shoots 78 gn RNFP over 2.3 gn Titegroup.
