Allie Mo, SASS No. 25217
I consider that akin to "jumping out of a perfectly good plane." I second Sue's post.

Charlie Harley, #14153
That turbine is small by most standards. In the US they go up to 400’ towers plus blades.
sassnetguy50
That exit would be appealing after having to climb up that ladder.
Dubious Don #56333
Wouldn't be the first time I took a rope off a mountain or left a perfectly good airplane.....LOL but these days, I no longer have the need for speed and thrills as much as I used to...... Pat Riot
Awe Shucks! I thought it was going to look like fun. I wouldn’t mind rappelling off on of those. Well, after my hand is fully healed…
Phantom Falcon, SASS # 46139
What an eyesore on the surrounding scenery. Damn things plus solar panels have ruined a lot of landscapes in this county. PF
Trailrider #896
Uh, NO! There may still be fingernail scratches on the inside of a Minuteman launch tube from when I went down in the elevator work cage to check on the missile suspension system. No, I didn't do it more than once. But I had to show the MMT troops that an occifer wouldn't ask them to do something he wouldn't. The work cage was suspended from the motor by a single 1/4" steel cable. In case the bottom fell out of the work cage you were connected to the point where the steel cable connected to the cage...NOT up at the top. If that cable broke... Never had one break so far as I know.... Flying never bothers me. You get breakoff phenomenon inside an aircraft. But I hate having to change a lightbulb that is high enough to require a step stool.
