Pat Riot
Poison Sumac Poison Ivy Burning poison sumac or ivy sends poison oils and particles into the air. Allergic people can have horrible reactions to it.

J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE
That is virginia creeper aka five leaf ivy. It can irritate the skin of some people, but not to the extent that poison ivy does. How it attaches is less damaging to trees and structures that english ivy and it is beneficial to birds and some insects. Leaves of three, let it be, leaves of five, let it thrive. Cypress Sun
J. Mark is correct but...tear that crap out as soon as possible. It will spread out quickly, attach itself to anything it can and leave "suckers" everywhere it goes. Tear it out, cut it off to the ground and nuke it with industrial strength weed be gone. Back in stock up here. If it was (shudder!) Kudzu, that would be about the only option. The college boy types brought it over from Japan after WW2 for erosion control- which it works great for. Not to mention that it's extremely fast growing and next to impossible to kill off. Too bad that they didn't realize that kudzu was focused on world domination in ways that would have made Alexander envious.

I have seen it make a great privacy fence on chain link... Just have to do some yearly clean up to keep it in tow.
