For Colt and Colt clones and will accommodate 44-40 and 45 for 7 1/2” barrels. Will fit waist 36 to 41” This rig has never been used. $700.00 Shipped. Had a SASS member ask a question, a good one at that and thought I would share it. First off the holsters, belt and lining are premium select veg tanned full grain American cow hide. Most rigs are made of a hobby grain leather. The mouth of the holsters are lined with Kydex for easy draw and to retain there shape. They are stitched with sailing yacht thread and period correct tooling. This rig was made by a renowned master craftsman. This rig built today would be between $1400.00 and $1500.00. I have fond memories of John Senior and his wife Louise. They lived next to my grandmother in Fallbrook and I was over at their house many times over the years. When they opened the Bianchi Frontier Museum we were on the guest list with a bunch of other VIPs. It was such a fun experience and they were always very kind to my brother and I. I made this rig for my brother Jonny T a few years back and as life would have it with a heavy work schedule he has not been able to ever use this rig. It's like brand new! Well, it looks like he will be returning to shootin' but with different revolvers. This rig was bench made meaning one-at-a-time and with a lot of heart was put into this rig. This is not a common production rig where lesser quality leather and cheap thread are used. For those of you that historical period correct tooling and holster design matters, this rig and tooling design which I call my "Trail Boss" rig is as authentically period correct as you can get. There are some competition modifications made such as laminated Kydex to retain the mouth opening for a fast draw and easy holstering and of course it is fully lined and the stitching is of UV yacht sail thread. The cartridge loops are sized for 44.40 cartridges although 45's will fit as well. Made of number 1 premium select full grain, veg tanned American cowhide, you just can't go any better for tooling gun leather, and that's a fact! The leather has been properly oiled, stained and finished using old world waxes (just like in the old west) and then buffed to a beautiful luster. So Pards, if your looking for a double strong side rig truly to be proud of and that will last a career of CAS, look no further, here it is. I believe my brother Jonny T is requesting only $800.00, that my friends is an incredible deal! Ricochet Roy As a side note: Years ago John Bianchi was and still is one of my mentors along with Matt Whitaker (Kid Cavalier), their shop is only 15 minutes away from my home. They took me in under their wings and taught me leather crafting the correct way and allowed me to work in their shop as I was building up my own shop. Between the two they have over 75 years of experience. They are both Masters at their trade and have always been very kind and generous to me for which I will forever be grateful.
