F. Greysmoke ,#12093
Hey Pard in my ROA I shot many 45 cowboy bullets (200 & 250g !) loaded upside down with 30g of 3f. They shot accurate enough for SASS but put lube on top of bullets or a wad. No pressure problems which show up as very deformed caps and if really excessive the caps blow completely apart leaving nothing on the nipple. ROAs are made with the same steel as there cartridge guns. Also, if you have or find balls that are not pure lead the rammer on the ROA is strong enough to push them in completely. Good luck and have fun pard. Greysmoke
Sgt Duncan
Moose Moulds makes custom moulds for many historical muzzle loading military arms He also has a very long list of round ball moulds His moulds are more expensive than Lee BUT they are arguably the best you can buy and easier to come by
