Dream Chaser, SASS #79316 Posted July 3, 2021 Share Posted July 3, 2021 I am in support of THSS having a second run but am aware (or think I am) that the dates announced at the last Trailhead for next years are in conflict with Regional. Needing to book a vacation for next year and did not want to book it over when Texas State was going to be. Normally have a good idea on dates by now. I spoke with Naildriver at EOT and he told me that THSS was able to deconflict the dates for the TX State Championship. The THSS Board voted to apply for the privilege of hosting the event. " "SASS will not let us know until September. As soon as we know I’ll let everyone know." That's the best I can do for now. THSS is currently looking at alternative dates for Trailhead because of the Regional conflict. As soon as we have updated dates, we'll let everyone know. Houston CAS Posted July 20, 2021 Share Posted July 20, 2021 Next year's Trailhead will now be March 17-20, 2022, one week earlier than originally scheduled. It was necessary to change the dates because the the SASS Southwest Regional Championship had to move its dates. The official application for the event will be posted later this year. What also hurts is its only a few weeks after EOT. So those from Texas that traveled to EOT only have a few weeks to have to hit that and then Regional back to back.
