I jumped on a case of Winchester AA's a month ago that cost me $155 shipped, and was glad I could get them.
Springfield Slim SASS #24733
So much for "it doesn't pay to reload shotgun shells". Glad I stocked up on shotgun components years ago, especially now that I have 4 shooters in the family.
Edward R S Canby, SASS#59971
Last summer there was a $2/box of STS shells. Shopping at three different Wal*Marts I was able to buy 36 boxes for the rebate.

I bought 3 cases, probably should have bought 4.
Hillbilly Drifter
I go through 2 cases a month. STS and Premier hulls are fantastic to reload and last many firings.

Prof James Weed Nish
I just bought a case of Federal lite target for 10.99 a box, from Natchez Shooting Supply. They have STS's for 13.99 a box. JW Nish

Very true, but that is with components you already have. When the time comes to replenish your primers, that cost will likely go up. Still worth it, though. Enjoy that while you can.... when you are finally forced to "Re-stock", those days will be over. But I agree... I have a pretty good stock of Shot Shell components, plus a good supply of both reloads and new shells.
Colorado Coffinmaker
Suddenly, my investment in All Brass Magtech hulls doesn't seem so expensive after all. Been loading the same hulls for 5 seasons. I figure they are pretty well amortized.
