Eliphalet R. Moderator Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Simply putting an item title doesn't tell anybody if you are Buying or if you are Selling. If you have Sold an item, especially if it wasn't through a visible "I'll take it", sooner or later someone is going to be asking to buy it. You won't answer because you are not expecting a reply, and the prospective buyer is left hanging. Do the right thing and edit your post to reflect SOLD or SPF! 2 6 Quote

Sedalia Dave Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 5 hours ago, James Sandner said: How to you delete a classified ad? Jim Sandner You can't. What you do is edit the title of the post and add the words SOLD or SPF to the beginning of the title. You open the edit function by clicking on the three periods at the top left of your post a window will open with three options, Just click on edit. When done scroll down and select save Quote

Trace Hombres Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 New to SASS and extremely please how friendly and helpful everyone has been! Curious…searching classifieds on forum and seem to be many items that say “sold” or “remove” that remain for a long time and not deleted. Just curious of the removal process? Looking to buy some items and just tough to sift through all the old sold listings. Any recommendations would be appreciated! Quote
Cholla Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Actually deleting listings is more work than someone just marking their listing SOLD. Many of us prefer that the items remain so we know how to price our items. Some don't feel that way. 1 1 Quote

The old ones can't be deleted, but will eventually be several pages deep and somewhere along the line get archived. That's why it's important to change the title to SOLD or SPF etc. 1 Quote
