Trigger Mike
Brownells sent an email advertising aluma Hyde that you color your gun and plastic with to protect the gun from solvents. Any experience with it?

DeaconKC
Surface prep is EVERYTHING with Aluma Hyde. If there is anything under it, it's gonna come off. Use brake cleaner generously and make sure it is totally spotless, then it will work. If not....
Charlie Harley, #14153
It’s a “good” coating. Re-did an old Marlin and brought it back to life. It rubs off at wear points like the muzzle, but is better than how bad it was originally. If I wanted a professional matte finish, have a gunsmith do a Cerakote job. https://www.cerakote.com
Chickasaw Bill SASS #70001
IMO light coats are the best way to apply , I have used a lot of it over the years , prep is critical CB
