Perfectly legal for SASS. Most are coated with a commercial mix sold by Hi-Tek. It is baked onto a cast lead bullet in 1 or more coatings. The bullets are then sized. Applied properly the coating is fused to the lead and will not flake off. They are very popular due to the elimination of conventional lube. Work with smokeless powder, APP, and Triple 7 with no issues. Real BP still requires lube in most applications.

Dream Chaser, SASS #79316
SNS bullets are also good. I use them and Cimarron and have had quick service from each. That being said, the others listed in the replies to my knowledge are also excellent sources.
