I'm not a Splashy Guy

It's true, I'm not a splashy guy so when something happens to me that's big,
IT'S REALLY BIG!

Late last night I got word from TN Tombstone that I had been honored at EOT with a new title: REGULATOR.
That's pretty much the definition of BIG to me.

I can't say what I did to earn such a great honor so I guess I'll just keep doing what I've been doing.

What I can say is THANK YOU to each and every one whose paths I've crossed in person or here on the Wire.

You made a difference in my life.

Yes indeed! Congratulations! You don't know how hard it is to keep a secret like that from outlaws in the time of covid. All the best!

Congratulations!  This was a well deserved honor.

With this recognition,  next time there's a problem with the Ponderosa Pines bath house, you can supervise while some other poor shmuck crawls in the hole to fix the plumbing ^_^

Congratulations Waimea.

There are many Regulators that are not "splashy".   They show up, do jobs and then some.

Many are folks who labor behind the scenes and many don't know their names nor their

silent contributions to SASS and CAS.   They enhance the game, its enjoyment, etc.....

and never ask nor expect anything in return.

Wear it Proudly, my friend.   You've earned it..... and then some.

Thank you for your kind words, Widder.

One of my dear cowboy travel friends that has gone on to his reward taught me a great lesson.

When he earned his first State Championship he actually wore that badge on his pamjamas that first night. He was so proud.

I did the same thing after every major award.

I can't describe how proud I am.

I can tell you buckles and pj's are not a good combo.

Congratulations my friend.  We weren't sure whether you would find out shortly after the announcement or it the badge would be presented as a surprise.  HVH so wanted to congratulate you after you made a FB post that she saw.  You so deserve it.

Many thanks to everyone!

I am settling into my new life as a Regulator which seems a lot like my old life as a non-Regulator.

But I will attempt to live up to the honor as best as I can.

SASS and Cowboy Action Shooting have given me WAY MORE than I could ever repay.
You have all changed my life.
