Pat Riot
The thread @Father Kit Cool Gun Garth created about “Brought a tear to my eye” regarding a guy’s grandfather appearing in Google Maps made me remember and go looking for a road in Oregon called Barnard’s Road when I passed a Google Mobile (I have no idea what they call those contraptions) while on my way home from work on my motorcycle. I looked up the road and started scrolling down the road (online) when “Surprise Surprise, Sgt Carter!” there I was on my bike. Here’s a couple of screenshots. I will have to look, but I passed one of these Google Mobiles on the 405 freeway here in CA one day. Maybe they got me on their system. Have you ended up in a Google Map? Oh, and just do you know. They didn’t steal my soul or anything… At least not that I am aware of. Darned Otto Communista!

Sedalia Dave
There used to be Google Earth photos of Barksdale AFB that happened to catch a B-52 during takeoff. You could see in in each successive frame as it gained altitude.

I had a dark face shield so it must have been that offensive shirt. The only red tee shirt I have owned in years was that one with the flag on it. Pat Riot
I had found these two shots in the past. I looked them up again and they are still on Google. This one is my neighbors in Oregon. This is when the Google Mobile had gone through in 2012. This one is a shot of a good friend of mine who was replacing his mailbox when Google went through in 2016. Knowing him I am shocked he didn’t flip them off, but Google blurs such things. I asked him why he didn’t and he said he didn’t realize what the thing was until it was down the street. Hahahaha.
