The reality is the public taxpayers are footing the bill for those that choose to vote. It’s appropriate that if voters believe in the importance of this right then they pay for the costs elections incur on the public. I changed a few words from the article, my changes are in bold. The one clearly new requirement (election insurance) has never been tested in the courts, how will the courts rule? Link to comment
