Wild Willi
I picked up my Crossfire Carbine. So I am looking it over to see where the makers name is listed and it says Made in the USA. Anyone have any info. I thought they were made by Uberti in Italy

Wild Willi
No Uberti anywhere that I can find unless it is under the wood, as I look at it in the morning light I am thinking it is saying Cimarron is in the USa but this doesn't look like an import stamp. Uberti lists it on their site as the maker but I am not finding them on the gun
Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933
Texas is definitely in the USA. All the importers of cowboy guns have nice roll stamped logos on the guns they import.
Tex Jones, SASS 2263
Cimarron is the importer, located in Fredericksburg, Texas.

PaleWolf Brunelle, #2495L
The Uberti stamps are under the forearm. The "U.S.A." is in the address for the importer (it does not say "Made in U.S.A.". Scroll down in this thread (posted by you in 2019)...the photo with the BOX clearly says "Made in Italy" with the Uberti logo.1876 45-60 or 45-70 - SASS Wire - SASS Wire Forum (sassnet.com)
Goody, SASS #26190
Cimarron has always been better at their roll stamps than some other companies. They like their guns to be marked more along the lines of the originals. Here are some details from their website. Revolver Markings Original patent dates on SAA frames Serial numbers on frame, trigger guard, backstrap and cylinder Hid foreign proof marks not required by law Miniaturized required proof marks 19th century style wording on barrels Detailed subinspector marks on U.S.Cavalry and Artillery Authentic 19th century caliber markings Rifle Markings Cimarron Repeating Arms added on barrel Kings patent date added on barrel “Model 1873” added to the rifle tang Henry marks match original Henry Civil War model features B. Tyler Henry and principal subinspector Charles B.Chapman markings
