Can’t find Vaqueros anywhere

Rainer Shine

Recommended Posts

I’ve been asking around to several different distributors and can’t get a good time line on SASS Vaqueros.

I would like to buy a pair but can’t find them in stock anywhere.

my question to all you fine folk is if you’ve heard anything about when shipments and stock will be fulfilled?

thx

Rainer

You must not be looking very hard.

Barleycorn Outfitters (John Barleycorn, SASS member) usually has a few.

Slaters In House Guns has a good pair, I don't remember the caliber.  Call him:  865 / 591-5129

They are in a lot of places.

Guys need to chill a bit.

Guns are coming back...ammo...will follow in a few months...then components.

Biggest problem right now is that Dealers have over-stocked themselves. This happened to a very old Distributor in 2016 and they are no longer around.

Bargains will be happening...Don't pay stoopid prices please!

I think the only value differentiation will be which gun has the higher number, the top or the bottom gun in the plastic case.

I stopped in Sportsman's Warehouse in Prescott. They had common ammo on the shelves and at fairly normal prices. No primers today and no powder, but things are backfilling.

I have bought two different pairs of 45 Vaquero's in the last six weeks. Maybe you just need to look a little harder:rolleyes: Two local gun shops had at least one each today.

+ 1 for what Mr. El said.

Ruger is not Remington or Colt.  Ruger is making guns at an unprecented rate.  The local Sportsman's Warehouse got in dozens of Rugers of every sort as well as Berettas, CZs, Walthers and others.  The MSRP for a New Vaquero is $829.00.  The street price is right around $729.00.  Much more than that is short term gouging.  Don't go nuts and pay an outrageous price.  Be patient.  Here are a few.  Blue or stainless $729.00.  They had .45s and .357s.
