Cherry Cobbler, By the time TW finally finished shooting Miller's Grocery had sold out of Nanner Puddin.  Ole TW to settle for Heath Bar Cheesecake while the rest of the posse suffered through cobbler & ice cream. Once again, TW had the fastest time but the folks at Miller's said next time he has to use a fork.

Well this weekend we learned that the Volunteers can beat up on some guy named Green who likes to bowl.  We also learned that Hurricane season is over and the Tide always rolls. 

 

I looked at the schedule and what do you know, there will be two groups of folks from Tennessee driving down to Alabama in October to get whooped up on !   What a coincidence.

1.  The person who named 'Alabama' only knew 4 letters of

the alphabet:  A l b m.

 

2. The person who named Tennessee had a stuttering problem.

   My double first cousin Billy Jo came in from the backwoods with an infestation of the chiggers and something special for Cap'n BB this weekend. I had to pay extry cause of him itchin so bad but it was worth it. The Cap'n better sweet talk Whiskey Hayes into some of that elixir hisowndangself. I'd hate to go through what he's gonna go through sober.

 

  Only other words of advice I can give him is he'd better go fast as he can and don't pump the brakes.

Funny thing....When they started to think about naming the country to the north of us, they decided to have a lottery.

 

They put all 26 letters into a bag. Then they started pulling letters.

 

After pulling the first letter, they made a glorious announcement, "It's a C, eh?"

 

They pulled the second letter and announced, "It's an N, eh?"

 

Finally, reaching into the bag a third time, they pulled out what would be the final letter and announced, "It's a D, eh?"

 

So, now you know how they came up with Canada.

I plan to be in one of those groups gettin' whooped up on! But at least I plan to be at Ambush instead of setting home like last year!

My practice and match participation has been minimal

and my only goal this year is just to be glad to be there

and shoot the match...... and be very happy to be alive and

hang around friends........ yea, even ole Capt BB.

 

Missouri Left and I do plan to host a good SG clinic.

For all interested..... its free.    But any and ALL donations

will go to the Cancer drive this year.

I agree, I’m just proud to be able to be there! I’m afraid I’ll be busy and miss y’all’s shotgun clinic but I will be there trying to learn something if I can. Hopefully someone will video it and those who miss it can watch it later and I’m sure many that get to see it in person would love to see it again. Heck I even found a mirror to watch Lefty in so I didn’t have to reverse everything in my head.

 

I just want to tell you and Missouri Lefty that we really appreciate y’all taking your time to do this clinic and I’m sure it will be a big hit with everyone!!

Actually I just wrapped up the last day of our busiest season of the year.  I'm about to pour myself a nice bourbon on the rocks and put my feet up.  Maybe after that I'll take a spin down to the lake and watch the sun go down.

the problem with TW and Capt BB being on the same posse

is that a group of people requested NOT to be on a posse with

TW.

 

And another group of people requested NOT to be on a posse

with Capt BB.

 

When you look at all those folks requesting NOT to be on

a posse with either (or both) of them, you would have a VERY

SMALL posse, probably not enough to have 3 spotters.

 

I feel sorry for the person making Posse assignments.

Well since I'm bringing my own cheering section of one perhaps TW, the Iron Cowboy and I can form our own posse, the Outcasts.  That way at least we'll all probably shoot 'clean'.
