Uberti 73 .44-40 SOLD

Recommended Posts

Cimarron 1873 Texas Brush Popper, .44-40, 18.5” barrel.  Easily holds ten rounds.  I bought this gun to use as a platform for an article for the Chronicle.  The Brush Popper has a half octagon/half round barrel.  Over the years I have accumulated numerous parts that I bought and then removed from different guns for different articles.  I bought this gun with the idea of incorporating basically every bell and whistle commonly available into it.  After the work was done I took it to the range and fired 50 rounds to test function and then put it in the safe.  (It does have a couple of minor safe dings in the wood.)  It includes over $1,100.00 in parts:

C&I 4th Gen Short Stroke

Shotgun Boogie Coil Mainspring  (Just these two items are over $600.00)

PV Lever Wrap

Shotgun Boogie Aluminum Carrier

Lever Lock Plug

Shotgun Boogie Loading Gate

Marbles Front and Rear Sights with Big Bead

Reduced Power Trigger Safety Spring

Wire Lever/Lifter springs with Hardened Screws

Tool Steel Firing Pin and Reduced Power Spring

Slix Straight Trigger

Brass Magazine Tube Plug

Laser Checkering by Taz

$2,000.00 plus $37.00 postage.  If you want additional insurance that will be whatever the P.O. charges me.
