The second kid from the left who can't even sit up straight is my son Frank, he's on the left in the B&W pic with HIS son Nick, my grandson!

I'd like to have another 40 years with my wife (without the kids).
Travel back to age 30, but still know what I know today.

NAH!!!  Finding out those things was more than half the fun!!  Still learning and still burning!!  Lately the burn is more like a smolder, but the breeze will pick up here in a bit and the flames will turn blue and white again!!

Where does it go?

It goes to the same place my hair has gone, and my memory, physical fitness, stamina, a lot of dogs, my memory, and a whole passel of things that were in around during my childhood and younger years, and my memory.

Ad friends no longer around, places I can't get to any more, things I can't use anymore, and my memory.

Is she a Craftmaster?

I can't make out what the craft is she's piloting - but it looks like an LCAC/SSC.

I was told "CTG 75.3"
She is the CO for the Navy port of Guam.
Apparently let out of her cage for a day at sea... where she is happiest.

Oldest grandson came over last night for supper. He’s about 6’3” tall and slender like a young pine tree!  He’ll be 21 this fall!

I remember when his mom and Hatfield got married. He was just a little over knee high and now he has me by more than an inch!

Polite young man and proud to wear our family’s name. On the day of the wedding, when the JP pronounced them husband and wife, he asked when could he get the family name. He was 7 years old.  His parents didn’t waste any time getting that done!

Work got in the way from the ‘70s through the ‘10s.  Retirement is much better.

For some, that’s unavoidable. Making a living and providing for their future CAN take time away from family time.

I worked hard to keep that from happening.  When Hatfield was growing up, I made sure the time we had was well spent.  I kept him and Schoolmarm involved in our racing program and coached the neighborhood kids in baseball which meant more time shared with him.

He’s done the same for his boys, staying involved in the things they do and like to do!

He’s coached, umpired, and mentored the same way I did and the way my dad did too!

Take the time you get and make the most of it!!  Make time whenever you can!!

I don't know about Stud, but I've shared a bottle with Mark Flint, so I know he ain't picky.
