Gun Cart Bling

I came across some Buffalo/Indian head nickel reproduction buttons and thought they’d look neat on a gun cart. I cover the holes on the push handles, chest carry handles and umbrella brackets with 16 gauge shotgun brass and wondered how the shotgun brass would look with these buttons on the ends. I came up with a way to mount them so that they’ll never come off of the brass and installed some on my latest cart and I came across another button that I liked that I installed on Double A’s cart hole covers. Mine are the Buffalo head nickle hers are the southwest type medallion. If any of you woodworker types would like a description of how I installed them on the brass, PM me and I’ll tell you how I do it.

It is nice, wonder if it is Lichtenburg Fractal Burning?

It is in fact, My son and DIL do it and I talked to Yul when he started. Looks like he has gone way past what I could yell him.

I posted quite a few pictures of the Jedi Gunfighter cart in January, I believe it’s archived.

Yul, I          that burnt look! It looks like weathered old wood, only not.

Thank you. It can’t compete with a Rugged Gear obviously so I’ll refrain from posting anymore gun carts and leave it to the RG carts and others. Cheers.

When you get too old (may that day be many seasons away!) for that cart, I call "dibs" on it!
