Trigger Mike
The other day I was watching TV while half asleep. As I drifted to sleep I saw a sargento cheese commercial and woke to a scene of fried chicken from cracker barrel restaurant. In my dazed condition I first thought it was advertising a new recipe for cheese crusted fried chicken. Later I realized it was two commercials. I asked my wife if there was a way to put cheese in the crust of fried chicken. Is there a way? We can't find a way without cheese burning the pan. Have wondered about using the Kraft packets from mac n cheese, never tried it. We slice the chicken and put a slice of cheese inside before battering and frying it. Chili Ron
Howdy, Just dip anything in melted cheeze and it will taste better. Even broccoli. I said better I didnt say I would eat it. Cactus Jack Calder
This is the recipe I have used with success. 1/2 cup Hellman’s Mayo 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese 4 tsp Italian bread crumbs 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Open chicken breast packages and rinse in cool running water. Lay out on one paper towel and pat dry with another towel. Lift off towels and place in baking pan sprayed with PAM. Add Mayo and Parmesan in a shallow bowl and stir together. Spread Mayo mix over the breasts, sprinkle bread crumbs over Chicken. Place pan in oven to bake at 425 for 30 minutes. The meat temperature should be 170F minimum. One breast for each person serves 4. My family seems to like it, or they are to polite to complain. Forty Rod SASS 3935
MMMMMMMmmmmm! Pulled rotisserie chicken, baby Swiss on toasted Italian bread with Miracle Whip and a cold sarsaparilla on the side. I think that's what God has for lunch.
