Sedalia Dave
About all you can do is replace the 90 pound hammer springs with 60 pound springs. However this is not a job for anyone who is not mechanically inclined and rather determined. DO not cut the barrels unless reduced power springs have been installed. and even then you'll never get them shorter than 26" or so. The weight of the barrels is what holds the gun open and if you get them too short the gun is ruined. Start reading here.

Much thanks Sedalia Dave - excellent info Any other advice is more than welcomed I'm definitely going to send it to a cowboy gunsmith - not a primary gun right now- I was lucky enough to find some primed 16 Guage hulls - will use it next season if we are able to still compete Hope your family (all of our families) is safe and finding laughs in these crazy times
