Charlie Harley, #14153 Posted May 18, 2021 Share Posted May 18, 2021 I couldn’t find a 44 Russian die so I used a Lee 44 mag die and gently ground about 3/16” off the seat/crimp die until it would crimp the Russian case. OK Dirty Dan Posted May 18, 2021 Share Posted May 18, 2021 For 44 Russian on my RL550B I use the sizing and seating dies from a Hornady carbide three die set and crimp with a Lee Factory Crimp Die. Ordered directly from RCBS here in CA... and dropped shipped from Bass Pro. Go figure. Starline Brass has this brass in stock. Lyman #50, Speer #14 (not 15), Hodgdon and Accurate 2003 all have loads for 44 Russian.
