Anyone get the SASS Patriot badge?

Recommended Posts

The price got me too!

It is pretty, and my "basic" badge broke when I tried to put it in my badge holder so I clicked the link. But too rich for my blood at this time. I'll have to figure out some way to repair my badge.

I have had mine for several years. Worn to at least one match per month during that period. Still looks new and IMHO pretty classy.
Didn’t get it thinking about price, got it to support the game I love.

John Kloehr.......

Take your badge to a jewelry shop that does repairs and caution them to fix it right.

      PATRIOT BADGE

I have not seen the patriot badge.

Is it available to all members?
Is there a photograph of it somewhere on the site?

It was just a couple of months ago where people were lining up in a thread here, exclaiming how they'd absolutely want to buy a Patriot Badge.  But, now that they're available... crickets??

Seems like the last time these were sold a part of the cost went to different pro gun organizations that fight to protect our 2A.

It's barely higher than a box of 9mm ammo! :D

If you want to flaunt your wealth, shoot a box of 9mm at a plywood target...

I’m with Gateway. I was one of the ones a couple of months ago said that I wanted one, still do.

If we make the trip to EOT without any extra suprises...I sure think a pair will be great for Shanley and I.

Go ahead and order now.

Don't remember how long of lead time to get mine but each badge is essentially a one-off custom with your alias/number. Get your order in now and it will still be bit before it comes in and you can actually pin it on.

BTW have fun at EOT. sure wish life would settle down and let me hang with my pards (you guys:wub:) again!!!

Actually I don’t have anything that refers to me as Patriot. No t-shirts, ball caps, tattoos.

I kind of reserve that term in my head for guys like Jefferson, Adams, and that crowd.

So, when the thread came up a few weeks ago I said I would buy one.

I ordered mine today, I figure the C-note will go towards helping SASS and I want to support our sport.

I think it will look very nice on my Levi jacket.

Actually it looks a bit too much like an actual LEO badge to walk into a convenience store in my opinion. Especially in today’s environment. At the range sure.

Actually $100 is not out of line for a customized badge.  About 20 years ago, I paid $85 for a department badge with my badge number on it.  I'm sure the SASS office is making something off the deal but probably not a lot.

I prefer my Regulator's badge anyway.  I got it for free, except for all the years of sweat involved.

I wear my Levi jacket to the range if weather conditions and/or temperatures require.
