near Seattle just filled up for 3.99 yesterday for 89 octane.  Have seen as high as 4.69 for premium but most is around the 3.75 mark.  Glad I had the vision to purchase a 40 mpg AWD CRV a month or so back.

Now is a great time to start looking at buying a truck...wait just a bit more until summer gas prices are in full effect....

CA mandates its own unique formulation of summer gasoline.
The other states do not produce it.
We won't be seeing those gas lines unless that problem affects raw material shipping to CA.

This time every year, the oil refineries have a major maintenance shut down causing price in crease just before summer.

Or they have a fire shutting down the refinery for repairs.

Watching news, these fires are always in a none critical area and can be fits in a week or so.

But the cost of gas goes up just before summer.

This year the oil pipeline is hacked and shut down.

Yep, gas prices go up just before summer.

But a hack does not damage the refineries.

It's just a flip of a switch somewhere.

Don't the oil companies realize, we the people are on to their summer price increase.

Oh and not let us forget, the gasoline mixture change in California that increases the cost as well.

Yesterday I saw the price change to over $4 per gallon on regular.

Are you Pards getting hit with the "Carbon Tax" like we are up here in Canada?

$1.289 per litre here, up from .899 litre a couple of months ago.

Litre? Oh, right...Canada is in with the rest of the planet on globalism measurements, and temperatures, and such. I forgot. My bad.

As far as I can tell, not yet.

If left up to ole sniffin' joe, and his leftist/socialist gang, like as not, we will see such foolishness, at some point.

I think they should just tax the people that voted for him, and his ilk...and leave the rest of us alone.

My Two Bits.

Great Smoky Mountains, Tennessee.  7 miles in either direction to a town. But all stations in either town are usually the same price.

2.79.9 yesterday when I filled up. 2.99.9 today per a buddy who was under 1/4 tank and had no clue there was a new damn panic until I told him. He now has a tank of gas, should get him through.
