Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted May 9, 2021 Share Posted May 9, 2021 So, my cousin's young son wants an IH Garand, and sent in his paperwork and $$ to the CMP about seven weeks ago. They understand that it takes a lengthy time to process, and don't expect status reports... but we're all curious - does anyone know if they at least acknowledge receipt of orders? My understanding is you will eventually get a email, it’s also my understanding that they are swamped right now , they have closed the north and south stores to help catch up on mail orders . If you go to the CMP forum there’s lots of speculation on waiting times and allot of people are posting on when the sent their orders in , when they got a email notification and their gun .
