WOLFY
these have checkered stocks and a longer bbl than the normal handy rifle. -to be sass legal, their ejector has to be changed to an extractor -i have no idea if the receiver/ rear sight is legal
irish ike, SASS #43615
Extractors are illegal in long range not Frontiersman. The newer H&R's don't have ejectors. The rear site is illegal for long range. These make great rifles for SASS sort of long range. This is a good price.
nunnfaster, SASS #51021
Extractor has been removed to be SASS legal. Sights removed and Lee Shaver Long range sight added. Helps a lot for 200 yards. Looks just like the picture.
Springfield Slim SASS #24733
Extractors are not illegal in any class, or how are you going to remove the shell, with your pocket knife? Ejectors are not legal in Long range, but are in Plainsman. Hard to tell from the pic but if that is a barrel mounted peep sight it isn't legal for long range. nunnfaster, SASS #51021
Exactly. A package deal is the way to go on all of these. No need to take parts off for pictures.
nunnfaster, SASS #51021
Lee Shaver himself mounted the tang in a special jig for the H&R.
Springfield Slim SASS #24733
I still don't see a pic of the barrel with the extractor removed. Still not sure why you would ever remove it. Nor why post pics of a gun with a price that doesn't apply to the gun as shown. Now I would like to see pics the metal? tang that the sight is installed on. It looks to be installed on the wooden stock, but apparently that is not so.

That's what I thought and stated in his other post. My B Classic has no tang.
