Blackwater 53393
There ARE no leftover biscuits!! If it's any kind of real biscuit, it'll be eaten now or saved for later in the day!! "Leftover" implies unclaimed or not wanted. Those biscuits that remain after the folks leave the table are there for filling in the empty spaces that invariably become evident once one has left the table. That remaining biscuit COULD become the bone of contention between two or more returning eaters!! In short, THE MEAL AIN'T OVER 'TIL ALL THE BISCUITS IS GONE!!! I asked about a specific burger and whether or not it had bacon. The girl behind the counter must not have heard me correctly and said “You want extra bacon?” I replied “No, I want ALL the bacon” She started laughing and had a hard time finishing up our order. My burger came with several slices of bacon. She’s a sweetie pie, in my book.

I also cooked lunch for tomorrow!" About biscuits specifically. A basic recipe makes 9 to 12 biscuits. Just about right for 3 or 4 people. It messes things up to try to cut it down, so there are "planned over " biscuits.
Ezra Hawthorne
You know it's a good biscuit when you take a bite and it doesn't so much dry out your mouth as it teleports the moisture to another dimension that not even the sawmill gravy can replace.
