WTC: Two Revolvers in Hand

Recommended Posts

I like the ? and videos, Branchwater.

Not everone, including meowndangself, know all the rules.   This is one question that even A LOT of

seasoned shooters don't seem to get right and often times, when I interject the actual rule, I think some

of them don't even believe it.

Good video.

^^^^ What Widder said ^^^^

I hate when I say what the rule is and I get into an argument from people that either remember what the rule was, or don’t want to accept what the current rule is.

One possibility.

If the stage instructions say the shooter may reholster or stage guns on table.

Also, just to clarify, the shooter MAY put the pistol on the table (empty) and shoot the second pistol.

Shooter then must return revolvers to holsters.

So thanks for the clarification since in this case, safely staging the revolver results in a penalty.

However in this case the revolver was not empty.

It has nothing to do with SAFETY.

It relates to category regs that only allow GF & BW to have 2 loaded revolvers out at the same time.

That's why the penalty is a "P" instead of a "MSV"...(unless repeated).
