The president does not approve the medal. He merely presents it in the name of Congress. It wouldn’t bother me. It’s still a tremendous honor.

Yes, I know the president does not approve the medal. 

He only presents it.

Point was, I'd rather see someone like President Reagan, or one of the President Bush's, present it.

My opinion.

I’d consider it an afterthought, toss it in my sock drawer and forget about it.
