Solomon Vaquero
Pards, I am looking for a 45 rifle with the 'in the white' finish. I have not seen a nickel plated one, but they may be out there. I would like to match my nickel pistols. Whatcha got? And yes, I have seen them on Gunbroker. I would rather buy from a cowboy if possible. Abilene, SASS # 27489
S.V., a local pard around here some years ago would take every one of his blued firearms down to "in the white". He just used flitz to remove the blue and polish them up. They all looked great. Just FYI.

T.K.
You can always de-blue a gun yourself. I did this on several including the one in the pic. I used Birchwood Casey rust and blue remover, you can remove a little or all of the blue. And I never had any rust problems after and I live near the ocean!. I left some blue on to give them that 100 year old saddle worn look. Just another option for ya Good Luck Pard !
